Our vast collection of brilliantly colored Victorian images are scans of authentic Victorian scrap, postcards, prints, etc.

Our images have been in the public domain for many years. Public domain does not mean the same thing as personal use. Most images were published during the mid to late 1800's until about the early Art Deco era.

We hold the copyright to all clip art images on this website and any of our other websites, due to the fact all of the images have been edited by me so they are now copyrighted by me. The original scrap, postcards, chromos, (antique paper ephemera) are quite old and have survived many generations.

We had to edit and clean up our images with our graphic's design software. Because the images have been somewhat altered they are considered altered art.

The Process

Our vast glorious collection of Victorian clip art was scanned at 100% directly from our huge Victorian scrap collection. We have made every effort to provide an authentic reproduction of vintage images from bygone times.

We offer personal use images for all of your various paper creations from a beautiful Victorian birthday card to complete scrap booking collage sheets. Of course you many not sell or make money from personal use images in any way.

When you purchase a personal use clip art image you will be able to use the image any way you want as long it is not used in any type of marketing, selling, reselling in whole or in part, including the use of the images to embellish websites, altered art for sale. Personal use images are in no way to be used to make money.

Your personal use clip art images are in .jpg format. The .jpg or .jpeg may be used on PC or Mac computers.

When you purchase an image collection it will be delivered in a .zip file for easier download. The default format for collections will be .jpg and the download will be .zip.

Personal use images are meant to printed on your home inkjet printer. If you want to print these images on a laser printer I believe that you will be disappointed with the results. We do not guarantee your results at all as that can vary from printer to printer, software to software.

Our high quality high resolution clip art images are perfect for professional printing needs. to be printed on laser printer or offset press.

You will need to purchase the image and a commercial use license to go with each image you purchase.

When you purchase a high resolution victorian clip art image it is yours with the watermark removed. You may print it as many times as you want but, You may not copyright the image or resell in whole or in part at any time in any way to anyone.

All of our clip art images are watermarked on this website but after purchase the images are free of any watermark.

We also offer single low resolution clip art images for professional use as well. These images are beautiful used on websites and for some professional printing on inkjet printers as well. For example, all the images used on this website are low resolution.
